Try something small enough to recognize when it comes back.

  1. Give it something meaningful

    A decision, the reason behind it, and the next step. Ask your agent to save it in the right memory space.

  2. Check what was saved

    Ask for the saved context and its source. Correct anything that doesn’t reflect what you meant.

  3. Return to it

    In a later conversation, ask where you left off. In another AI, ask it to look up what you saved.

A few useful distinctions.

What’s a mesh?

A mesh is a memory space in ScientiaMesh. It connects saved knowledge, sources, and relationships, and only its members can reach it. Think of it as a home for one part of your life or work.

What carries across environments?

Saved knowledge can be retrieved by another compatible environment with access to the same Mesh. Local files, tools, running work, and automatic recall depend on the harness. Connecting memory does not transfer everything on your computer.

Does connecting install Pixel’s identity?

The connection guide preserves your existing agent’s identity. Bringing an existing portable Pixel definition is a separate, optional step described in the guide.

What if my agent cannot remember something?

Ask it to check which memory space it can access, retrieve the saved item, and show its source. A successful sign-in alone does not prove that recall works. The connection guide includes a small verification step.
